AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING PANEL (for Automatic Air Conditioning System): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:  Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt
pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL CENTER See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

Panel/Service and Repair/Upper Instrument Panel/Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL CENTER See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument

Panel/Service and Repair/Upper Instrument Panel/Removal

4. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER

(a) w/o Navigation System:

Remove the radio receiver  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Upper
Instrument Panel/Removal.

(b) w/ Navigation System:

Remove the radio receiver  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Upper
Instrument Panel/Removal.

5. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 clips.

HINT:  Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(c) Connect the connectors and remove the air conditioning control.

Installation

AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING PANEL (for Automatic Air Conditioning System): INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the connectors.
(b) Attach the 3 clips to install the air conditioning control.
(c) Install the 2 screws.

2. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER

(a) w/ Navigation System:

Install the radio receiver  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Upper Instrument
Panel/Installation.

(b) w/o Navigation System:

Install the radio receiver  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Upper Instrument
Panel/Installation.

3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL CENTER See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument
