Solar Sensor (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)

Solar Sensor (for Automatic Air Conditioning System) 

REMOVAL 

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:  Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt
pretensioner activation. 

2. REMOVE SOLAR SENSOR

a. Using a screwdriver, pull out the solar sensor, then disconnect the connector.

HINT:  Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

INSTALLATION 

1. INSTALL SOLAR SENSOR

a. Connect the connector, and then push in the solar sensor.

2. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
3. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

a. Check the SRS warning light.
