Cruise Control Module: Service and Repair
Installation

CRUISE CONTROL: DISTANCE CONTROL ECU: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL DISTANCE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the distance control ECU with the bolt.

Torque : 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
Do not install the distance control ECU assembly if it has been damaged or received some sort of shock.

(b) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL MAIN BODY ECU (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH)   See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Housing Assembly HVAC/Service

3. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY   See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and

Repair/Knee Airbag Assembly (for Driver Side)/Installation

4. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard

/ Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Installation

5. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Hood/Hood Latch Release

Cable/Service and Repair/Installation

6. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and

Repair/Installation

7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and

Repair/Installation

8. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Installation

9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Headliner/Service and Repair/Installation

10. INITIALIZE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU

(a) Initialize the distance control ECU    See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning.
