Cigarette Lighter: Service and Repair
Removal

POWER OUTLETS (INT): CIGARETTE LIGHTER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Removal and

2. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Removal

and Replacement/Front Console Box/Removal

3. REMOVE REAR UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and

Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Console Box/Removal

4. REMOVE CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL   See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal

5. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER COVER

(a) Remove the cigarette lighter cover.

6. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the cigarette lighter knob and element.

(b) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the cigarette lighter socket and retainer assembly.

7. REMOVE CIGARETTE LIGHTER INDICATOR LENS
