Key Cylinder Lamp: Service and Repair
Removal
LIGHTING (INT): IGNITION KEY CYLINDER LIGHT: REMOVAL
1. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Steering Column Assembly (for Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column)/Removal
2. REMOVE UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Steering Column Assembly (for Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column)/Removal
3. REMOVE TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws.
(c) Disconnect the connector and remove the transponder key amplifier.
