Installation

REAR SUSPENSION: REAR PNEUMATIC CYLINDER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR PNEUMATIC CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the pneumatic cylinder as shown in the illustration.

HINT
Rotate the pneumatic cylinder to fasten the pneumatic cylinder into the spring seat on the frame.

(b) Connect the height control tube    See: Service Precautions/Suspension Control System.

(c) Install a new clip.

(d) Lower the lift that is supporting the frame to allow the tire to touch the floor and check that the piston-side pneumatic cylinder pin is in the

center hole of the No. 2 lower arm.

(e) Start the engine to fill the pneumatic cylinder with air.

(f) Install the bolt.
