Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf ): Service and Repair
Installation

REAR SUSPENSION: REAR COIL SPRING: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR COIL SPRING LH

(a) Using SST, compress the coil spring.

SST : 09727-30021

(b) Fit the coil spring to the No. 2 lower arm, and jack up the No. 2 lower arm. Install the coil spring as shown in the illustration.

(c) Confirm that the ID mark on the rear coil spring is visible through the drain hole of the No. 2 lower arm.

NOTICE:
If the ID mark is not visible, reinstall the coil spring.

(d) Remove the SST from the coil spring.

2. TIGHTEN REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH   See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Upper

3. INSTALL REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH

4. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
