Dome Lamp Switch: Testing and Inspection
Room Light Switch
LIGHTING (INT): ROOM LIGHT SWITCH: INSPECTION
1. INSPECT INTERIOR DOME LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Check the resistance.
(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(2) If the result is not as specified, replace the interior dome light switch.
(b) Check the illumination operation.
(1) Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 1 (Ill+) and the negative (-) battery lead to terminal 4 (Ill-), and then check that the
illumination illuminates.
OK:
Illumination illuminates.
(2) If the result is not as specified, replace the interior dome light switch.
