Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Removal
1UR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: REMOVAL
1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Engine Assembly/Removal
2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY See: Ignition System/Ignition Coil/Service and Repair/Removal
3. REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and sensor.
4. REMOVE VVT SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the 4 sensor connectors.
(b) Remove the 4 bolts and 4 sensors.
