5. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for 2WD)

6. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR (for 4WD)   See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and

7. REMOVE TRANSFER HEAT INSULATOR (for 4WD)   See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and

Joints/Drive/Propeller Shaft/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Propeller Shaft Assembly/Removal

8. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY (for 4WD)   See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Drive/Propeller Shafts, Bearings and

9. REMOVE REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH   See: Sensors and Switches - Suspension/Ride Height Sensor/Service

and Repair/Removal

10. REMOVE REAR STABILIZER BAR

   See: Stabilizer Bar/Service and Repair/Rear Stabilizer Bar/Removal

11. REMOVE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the AVS connector (w/ AVS).

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and nut and remove the rear shock absorber.

Installation

REAR SUSPENSION: REAR SHOCK ABSORBER: INSTALLATION

1. TEMPORARILY INSTALL REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Temporarily install the upper side of the shock absorber to the chassis frame with the bolt and nut.
