Lateral Stabilizer Rod: Service and Repair

REAR LATERAL CONTROL ROD 

Components

REMOVAL 

1. SUPPORT REAR AXLE HOUSING WITH JACK

2. REMOVE REAR LATERAL CONTROL ROD ASSEMBLY

a. Remove the 2 bolts, nut, washer and lateral control rod.

Torque:
140 Nm (1,428 kgf-cm, 103 ft. lbs.)  
130 Nm (1,326 kgf-cm, 96 ft. lbs.)  

HINT: At the time of installation, please refer to the following items.

Replace the used nut with a new one.

After stabilizing the suspension, torque the nut and bolt.

INSTALLATION 

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
