Remove the no. 1 service hole cover.

3.

Remove the back door lock protector sub-assembly and the three bolts that secure the back door lock to the door.

4.

Remove the back door handle protector and detach the control cable from the outside handle.

5.

Remove the two wire harness connectors from the back door lock then remove the back door lock from the inside of the back door.

6.

Detach the back door lock control cable from the back door lock.

7.

Attach the cylindrical end of the new back door lock control cable to the back door lock.
