Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Speed Sensor, Front

Front

REMOVAL 

1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

Torque: 110 Nm (1,150 kgf-cm, 83 ft. lbs.) 

2. DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR

3. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR

(a) Remove the clips and 3 clamp bolts holding the sensor harness from the frame, upper arm and steering knuckle.

Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 inch lbs.) 

(b) Remove the bolt and speed sensor from the steering knuckle.

Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 inch lbs.) 

INSTALLATION 

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

HINT:  After installation, check speed sensor signal
