Seat Belt Reminder Lamp: Testing and Inspection
INSPECT DRIVER'S SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT
a. Disconnect the connector B from the combination meter.
b. Connect the negative (-) lead from the battery to terminal 5.
c. Turn the ignition switch ON and check that the warning light lights UP.
If the warning light does not light up, inspect the bulb or wire harness.
INSPECT PASSENGER SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT
a. Remove the center cluster finish panel.
b. Disconnect the connectors from the center cluster integration.
c. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to the terminal 4 and negative (-) lead terminal 10, and check that the warning light lights UP.
If the warning light does not light up, inspect the bulb or wire harness.
