4. DISCONNECT ACCELERATOR CABLE FROM THROTTLE BODY
5. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY

a. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
b. Disconnect the throttle control motor connector.
c. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor connector
d. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor wire from the 2 clamps on the wire brackets.

e. Disconnect the PCV hose and water bypass hose from the throttle body.
f.

Remove the ventilation cap.

g. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts, and disconnect the throttle body from the intake manifold.

h. Disconnect the water bypass hose from the manifold thermostat on the throttle body, and remove the throttle body.
i.

Remove the gasket.

REPLACEMENT

NOTE:

-

To prevent deterioration, do not shock the throttle position sensor and accelerator pedal position sensor.

Mixing of the foreign objects may cause the gear locking, so thoroughly check that there is no stuck of any foreign objects and clean up if any.

1. REPLACE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR

a. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector on the lead wire.

b. Remove the 2 set screws and throttle position sensor.
c. Reinstall a new throttle position sensor.

1. Check that the throttle valve is under the condition of the opener opening angle (about 5.5 °)
