Introduction
In rare cases, some owners of 2001 model year Sequoia vehicles equipped with Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) may experience a condition in which
the High Beam Indicator Light does not illuminate when the high beams are turned on. A modification to the wiring harness and replacement of the Body
ECU, as described below, should be performed to correct this condition.

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.
* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
Repair Procedure
1.
Modify the high beam indicator circuit wiring.
A.
Remove the Combination Meter. See page BO-88 in the 2001 Sequoia Repair Manual.
B.
Locate connector C7 at the back of the combination meter.
