Yaw Rate Sensor: Service and Repair
YAW RATE SENSOR
REPLACEMENT
NOTICE:
^
Don't use the dropped or damaged yaw rate sensor.
^
Free from the forcing matters between yaw rate sensor brakes and body.
^
Make sure the sensor direction.
1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH
a. Remove the nut and cowl side trim board plate RH.
4. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR
a. Disconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and yaw rate sensor.
5. INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR
a. Connect the yaw rate sensor connector.
b. Install the yaw rate sensor with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 13 Nm (136 kgf-cm, 10 ft. lbs.)
6. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH
a. Install the nut with the cowl side trim board plate RH.
7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
9. PERFORM YAW RATE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION See: Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and
Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/ABS W/EBD & BA & TRAC & VSC System/Zero Point Calibration of Yaw Rate and
Deceleration Sensors
10. CHECK VSC SENSOR SIGNAL
