From inside the vehicle, locate the steering intermediate shaft dust boot. Unclip the three brass colored clips securing the dust boot to the floor.

2. Slide the dust boot up towards the steering wheel.

Apply Dow Corning BR-2 Plus Multi-Purpose E.P. Grease containing MOS2 to the inside diameter of the dust boot along all surfaces that contact
the shaft.

Apply a small amount of this grease to the shaft where the dust boot makes contact. Gently slide the dust boot down and rotate it 360° just prior to
locking back into position on the floor.

5.

Secure the dust boot to the floor by re-clipping the three clips. Wipe off all excessive grease on shaft above boot.

NOTE:

Do not over extend the clips outward.
