Introduction
On some vehicles when RapgardTM is removed the paint may have a stained appearance. These stains appear to be under the clear coat and should not
be considered a defect in the paint (clear coat or color coat). The stain patterns are usually under wrinkles in the RapgardTM. These wrinkles sometimes
trap water and cause the paint to stain from the trapped moisture especially on horizontal surfaces such as the hood roof and trunk. Stains can be
removed by heating the stained surface to remove the trapped moisture.

 
Applicable Vehicles
^ 2002 - 2006 model year Toyota vehicles all models.
^ 2004 - 2006 model year Scion vehicles all models.

Warranty Information

 
Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.

*  Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customers specific complaint.
