Introduction

The field fix procedure was developed to minimize the possibility of rear No. 2 seat creak noise caused by contact between the upper and lower seat
cushions on 1998 Siennas equipped with optional leather seating.

This repair is covered under the Toyota Basic Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the

1. Remove the Rear Seat Back Board Tray from the back of the seat.
