Introduction

A field fix is available for customer complaints of the rear No. 2 (rear-most) seat being difficult to remove or install into the vehicle. The seat adjuster
legs were modified to improve bending or binding resistance of the sensor arm in the seat leg assemblies. Replacing the seat leg assembly will remedy
the condition.

Applicable Vehicles

1998 - 2000 model year Sienna vehicles.

Repair Procedure

Please refer to the Sienna Repair Manual, Body (BC) section, for rear seat disassembly instructions.

Replace damaged leg assembly with service parts.

Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.
