Blower Motor: Testing and Inspection
Rear Blower Motor
1. 4-Door Models:
INSPECT REAR A/C BLOWER MOTOR OPERATION
Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1, then check that the motor rotates smoothly.
It operation is not as specified, replace the blower motor.
2. 5-Door Models:
INSPECT REAR HEATER BLOWER MOTOR OPERATION
Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the motor rotates smoothly.
If operation is not as specified, replace the blower motor.
3. 5-Door Models:
INSPECT REAR COOLER BLOWER MOTOR OPERATION
Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2, then check that the motor rotates smoothly.
If operation is not as specified, replace the blower motor.
