Introduction
Some customers may complain that the SRS and Passenger Airbag OFF indicator lights remain on. If Occupant Detection Diagnostic Trouble Code
(DTC) B1785, B1786, B1787, or B1788 is found, confirm the vehicle was not involved in a collision and no foreign object is lodged under the seat
assembly.
If this is not the case, a customer may have lifted the seat frame by exerting extra force on the seatback. The following repair will replace the existing
seat for one calibrated for heavier customers.

2004 - 2005 model year Camry, Highlander, and Solara vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown in this TSB.

2005 model year Corolla and Matrix vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown in this TSB.
Warranty Information
Applicable Warranty*:
This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.
* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
