Remove the clip labeled A.

B.

Disengage the claw and clip labeled B and remove the side trim.

Remove the cowl side trim sub-assembly RH.

HINT
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

5.

Remove the rear seat assembly

A.

Pull up the 2 front portions of the seat cushion then remove it.

The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order. However; only installation procedures requiring additional
information are included.

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart

CAUTION

Wear protective gloves. Sharp surfaces on the seatback frame can cause injuries to your hands.

(1)

Remove the rear seat cushion assembly by pulling up the 2 front portions of the seat cushion then removing it.

NOTE

The cushion frame deforms easily. To avoid deforming the seat cushion, place your hands near the hook as shown in the
illustration, and then pull up on the seat cushion. Do the same for the other hook.

(2)

Remove the LH and RH rear seat headrest assemblies.

(3)

Remove the rear seatback assembly RH by folding the seatback forward pulling the spring loaded hammer and pulling the seat
towards the front of the vehicle.

(4)

Pull back the seatback hinge RH and remove the seatback

(5)

Remove the rear seatback assembly LH.
