Ignition Switch: Service and Repair
Removal
3MZ-FE STARTING: IGNITION SWITCH:
REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH LOWER PANEL LH
HINT: (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Removal)
3. REMOVE IGNITION OR STARTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the ignition switch connector and unlock warning switch connector.
(b) Remove the clamp.
(c) Remove the 2 screws and ignition switch.
