Engine Control Module: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT NEGATIVE TERMINAL CABLE FROM BATTERY.
CAUTION: Work must not be started for at least 90 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to the LOCK position and the negative (-)
terminal cable is disconnected from the battery.
2. REMOVE SCUFF PLATE.
3. REMOVE ECM PROTECTOR.
(a) Take out the front side of the floor carpet.
