VSV For Vapor Pressure Sensor: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION 

1. REMOVE NO.2 ENGINE UNDER COVER
2. REMOVE VSV FOR VAPOR PRESSURE SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the VSV connector.
(b) Disconnect the 3 EVAP hoses from the VSV.

(c) Remove the screw and VSV.

3. INSPECT VSV FOR OPEN CIRCUIT

Using an ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between the terminals.

Resistance: 37 - 44 Ohms at 20°C (68°F)  

If there is no continuity, replace the VSV.

4. INSPECT VSV FOR GROUND

Using an ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between each terminal and the body.
If there is continuity, replace the VSV.

5. INSPECT VSV OPERATION
