Actuator Connectors

Five Brake Lines

Actuator Bracket And Hold-Down Nuts

 REMOVAL

1.

Remove brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir with a syringe or an equivalent.

CAUTION: Do not let brake fluid remain on a painted surface. Wash off immediately.

2.

Disconnect the three electrical connectors from the actuator.

3.

Using a properly sized flair nut wrench remove the five brake lines from the actuator.

4.

Remove the three nuts holding the actuator on and remove the actuator.

 INSTALLATION

1.

Install the actuator to the actuator bracket with three nuts and washers, and tighten. See SPECIFICATIONS. 

NOTE: Install the motor ground wire between the plate washer and spring washer before installing the rear right side nut.

2.

Connect the five brake tubes to the actuator by hand and then using a flair nut wrench. See SPECIFICATIONS.

3.

Connect the three electrical connectors to the actuator.
