Oil Pan: Service and Repair

1.

Obtain audio anti-theft code, if equipped, as outlined in  Technician Safety Information.

2.

Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove engine undercover.

3.

Remove front differential.

4.

Drain oil from engine.

5.

Remove oil pan attaching bolts,

6.

Using seal cutter tool No. 09032-00100, or equivalent, remove oil pan from engine block. Ensure to not damage oil pan flange.

7.

Remove oil strainer, oil baffle plate, then the oil pump.

8.

Reverse procedure to install. Reset audio coded anti-theft system, if equipped, as outlined under Technician Safety Information.
