5. Install SST (union) to the Injector and hold the Injector and union with SST (clamp, 09268-41045).
6. Put the Injector into the graduated cylinder.
7. Connect the battery negative (-) terminal cable.
8. Turn the ignition switch ON. Do not start the engine.

9. Using SST, connect terminals FP and +B of the Data Link Connector (DLC) 1. (SST 09843-18020). Fuel Pump will operate.

10. Connect SST (wire, 09842-30070) to the Injector and battery for 15 seconds and measure the injection volume with a graduated cylinder. Test

each Injector 2 or 3 times.

Volume:  45 - 55 cm3/15 seconds. (2.7 - 3.4 Cu in).
Difference between each Injector:  6 cm3 (0.4 cu in) or less. 

If not within specified volume, replace the Injector.

Leakage Test.

1. After the injection test above, disconnect SST (wire, 09842-30070) from the battery and check for fuel leakage from the Injector Nozzle.

Fuel drop: One drop or less per minute. 

2. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal cable.
3. Remove all Special Service Tools and reassemble fuel system. Connect the battery negative (-) terminal cable. Check for leaks.
