Start Injector Time Switch: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION

1. Measure resistance of Cold Start Injector Time Switch.

Disconnect the connector.

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals.
Between terminals STA and STJ:

Below 10°C (50°F):
30 - 50 ohms 

Above 25°C (77°F):
70 - 90 ohms 

Between terminals STJ and ground:

Always:  30 - 90 ohms 

2. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the Cold Start Injector Time Switch. Reconnect the connector.
