b. Using Special Service Tool (SST) 09610 - 20012 or equivalent, disconnect the tie rod end from the knuckle arm.  

5. Disconnect intermediate shaft assembly.
6. Disconnect return hose.
7. Disconnect pressure feed tube and the remove return tube, as follows:

a. Using SST 09631 - 22020 or equivalent, disconnect the pressure feed tube and remove the return tube.  
b. Remove the O-ring from the tube.

8. Remove mount bracket and the grommet, as follows:

a. Remove the two bolts.
b. Remove the mount bracket and grommet from the parking gear assembly.

9. Remove power steering gear assembly. Remove the two gear assembly set bolts and nut.

INSTALLATION

1. Install power steering gear assembly. Torque the two gear assembly set bolts and nut. 

Torque: 88 Nm (65 ft. lbs.).

2. Install mount bracket and the grommet, as follows:

a. Install the grommet and mount bracket to the power steering gear assembly.
b. Tighten the two bolts. 

Torque: 88 Nm (65 ft. lbs.).

3. Connect pressure feed tube and install return tube, as follows:

a. Coat a new O-ring with power steering fluid and install it to the tube.

b. Using SST 09631 - 22020 or equivalent, connect the pressure feed tube and install the return tube. 

Torque: 19 Nm (14 ft. lbs.).
