Suspension Travel Bumper: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove rear wheel.
Torque: 103 Nm (76 ft. lbs.)
2. Remove spring bumper.
a. For STD 0.5 ton, Extra cab, remove the two bolts, spring bumper and spacers.
Torque: 29 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
INSTALLATION NOTE: Install the spacers, as shown in the illustration.
b. For the STD 1.O ton, remove the two bolts, spring bumper and bumper block spacers.
Torque: 29 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
INSTALLATION NOTE: Install the spacers, as shown in the illustration.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
