Seals and Gaskets: Service and Repair
Front Differential - 4 WD
REPLACEMENT
1. Remove engine under cover
2. Remove front propeller shaft.
3. Remove companion flange.
a. Using a chisel and hammer, loosen staked part of the nut.
b. Using Special Service Tool (SST) 09330-00021 or equivalent to hold the flange, remove the nut.
c. Using SST 09950-30010 or equivalent, remove the companion flange.
4. Remove oil seal and oil slinger.
