Parking Brake System: Adjustments

1.

Release parking brake and check to ensure warning light switch is off. If adjustment is required, loosen parking brake warning light switch bracket
and position switch.

2.

Adjust nut at parking brake cable equalizer so that there is no looseness at No. 2 and No. 3 parking brake cables. Check to ensure both rear wheels
rotate freely.

3.

After adjusting, apply parking brake lever and count number of notches on brake lever. Specified number of notches should be 10 - 16.
