Brake Caliper: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation
1. Raise and support vehicle and remove front wheel(s).
2. Disconnect brake hose and use suitable container to catch brake fluid.
3. Remove bracket from caliper.
4. Remove 2 slide pins and caliper.
5. Remove brake pads, anti-squeal shim(s), pad wear indicator plate and 4 support plates.
6. If necessary, remove slide bushing and pin boots.
