6. Remove damaged or loose floor retainer(s).
A. Raise the floor carpet.
B. Remove the retainer.
7. Install new the floor retainer.
Floor retainers are labeled as "UPR" for Upper and "LWR" for lower.
8. Carefully enlarge the carpet hole to allow the tip of the floor retainer to protrude through the carpet. Do not cut more than 2 mm of carpet as seen in
figure 5.
Cut carpet towards the rear of the vehicle. Only cut 1.5 - 2.0 mm in length.
