a. Using a screwdriver with its tip taped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and open the cover.

b. Remove the 2 screws and assist grip.

62. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP PLUG (w/ Curtain Shield Airbag)

HINT:  Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.

a. Using a screwdriver with its tip taped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and open the cover.

b. Remove the screw.
c. Disengage the claw and remove the assist grip plug.
