DOME LIGHT IMPROVEMENTS

Introduction
North American Production Corollas and Tacoma XtraCabs have improved dome light assemblies to correct a condition causing the dome light to be
inoperative with the switch in the ON position. This condition does not occur with the switch in the DOOR position. If the bulb does not illuminate or
operates intermittently while the dome light switch is in the ON position, the dome light assembly is suspect. Confirm that the proper voltage is present
and that the bulb element is operational prior to replacing the dome light assembly.

All 81240-02030- ## parts have a date code on the back. Replacement of the switch with a service part manufactured on 8/20/97 or later will assure the
latest improvements.
