SKID PLATE VIBRATION

Introduction 

A low frequency vehicle vibration may occur at speeds above 65 mph on 2005 model year Tacoma vehicles equipped with the Toyota Accessory Skid
Plate. The Skid Plate may be the cause of the vibration.

To identify potentially affected Skid Plates, refer to the illustrations shown. New Skid Plates with reinforcement brackets (P/N PT212-35051) are now
available to improve this condition.

Applicable Vehicles:

2005 model year Tacoma vehicles. 

Parts Information

Repair Procedure

Remove and replace the original Skid Plate with the new part (P/N PT212-35051) to correct the condition. Return all "new stock" of the previous part
(P/N PT21 2-35050) to your facing PDC.

Warranty Information

Applicable Warranty:

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.
