A. Felt should be directly between tabs and instrument panel as shown in Figure 9. If the felt is out of position as shown in Figure 8 proceed to Step

5.

NOTE

If the felt is out of position it can cause the tabs to contact the instrument panel resulting in a raffle.

B. If the felt is properly aligned STOP The source of noise is coming from a different location. This TSB does NOT apply.
