b. Install the nut.

Torque: 91 Nm (928 kgf-cm, 67 ft. lbs.)

c. Install a new cotter pin.

70. INSTALL TIE ROD END SUB-ASSY RH

HINT:  The installation procedure for the RH side is the same as that for the LH side.

71. INSTALL STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT NO.2

a. Align the matchmarks on the steering intermediate shaft No.2 and power steering link.
b. Install the steering intermediate shaft No.2 onto the power steering link with bolt C.

Torque: 35 Nm (357 kgf-cm, 26 ft. lbs.)

c. Align the matchmarks on the steering intermediate shaft and steering sliding yoke.
d. Install the steering sliding yoke onto the steering intermediate shaft and slide it upward.
e. Align the matchmarks on the steering sliding yoke and steering intermediate shaft No.2.
f.

Install the steering sliding yoke with bolts A and B.

Torque: 35 Nm (357 kgf-cm, 26 ft. lbs.)

72. INSTALL STABILIZER BAR FRONT
73. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET NO.1 LH
74. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET NO.1 RH

HINT:  The installation procedure for the RH is the same as that for the LH side.

75. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSY LH
76. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSY RH

HINT:  The installation procedure for the RH is the same as that for the LH side.

77. INSTALL FRAME CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSY NO.3
78. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT ASSY (PRE RUNNER DRIVE TYPE, REGULAR CAB)
79. INSTALL PROPELLER W/ CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSY (PRE RUNNER DRIVE TYPE, EXCEPT REGULAR CAB)
80. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT ASSY (4WD DRIVE TYPE, REGULAR CAB)
81. INSTALL PROPELLER W/ CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSY (4WD DRIVE TYPE, EXCEPT REGULAR CAB)
82. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT ASSY FRONT (4WD DRIVE TYPE)
83. INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE ASSY FRONT (2TR-FE ENGINE TYPE)
84. INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE ASSY FRONT (1GR-FE ENGINE TYPE)
85. INSTALL EXHAUST FRONT PIPE ASSY NO.2 (1GR-FE ENGINE TYPE)
86. INSTALL FRONT WHEELS

Torque: 113 Nm (1,152 kgf-cm, 83 ft. lbs.)

87. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
88. INSPECT STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT
89. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque: 3.9 Nm (40 kgf-cm, 35 inch lbs.)

90. ADD POWER STEERING FLUID
