Rear Door Window Glass Weatherstrip: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT 

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH
3. REMOVE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY REAR
4. REMOVE DOOR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY RH
5. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH
6. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP OUTER LH

a. Apply protective tape to the outer circumference of the rear door glass weatherstrip outer, as shown in the illustration.
b. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 6 claws and remove the rear door glass weatherstrip outer.

7. INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP OUTER LH

a. Engage the 6 claws and install a new front door glass weatherstrip outer.

8. INSTALL REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH
9. INSTALL DOOR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY RH

10. INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY REAR
11. INSTALL REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH
12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque: 3.9 N.m (40 kgf.cm, 35 in.lbf)
