Some customers may experience tearing of the material on the driver's side rear seat on the back cover near the tilting pivot on the right side. Replace
parts as described below.

This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

Repair Procedure

1.

Remove the left rear seat back cover (refer to the 2001 Tacoma Repair Manual, Volume 2, pages BO-100 - BO-102).
