Refer to Fig. 10, for assistance in the following procedure.
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove front pillar garnishes by pulling. Then remove door scuff plates.
3.
Remove steering wheel as described in under STEERING SUSPENSION CHASSIS AND BODY
COMPONENTS/STEERING/COMPONENT R & R/STEERING WHEEL.
4.
Remove steering column covers, console box and hood release lever.
5.
Remove No. 1 lower finish panel.
6.
Remove combination switch as described under BODY ELECTRICAL SAFETY AND ENTERTAINMENT/AUXILIARY
EQUIPMENT/COMPONENT R & R/COMBINATION SWITCH.
7.
Remove instrument cluster as described under INSTRUMENT CLUSTER.
8.
Remove No. 2 lower finish panel. Then remove radio.
9.
Remove lower center finish panel. Remove clock and disconnect connector.
