Wiper Switch: Service and Repair
Combination Switch

Removal/Installation

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove horn button screws and horn button.

3.

Scribe alignment marks on steering wheel and steering shaft.

4.

Remove steering wheel nut.

5.

Using a steering wheel puller, remove steering wheel.

6.

Remove steering column upper and lower covers.

7.

Disconnect combination switch harness.

8.

Remove combination switch.

9.

Reverse procedure to install.

HEADLIGHT, DIMMER & TURN SIGNAL SWITCH

1.

Remove combination switch as outlined previously.

2.

Remove set plate, Fig. 10.

3.

Remove light dimmer turn switch attaching screws.

4.

Slide switch from switch body with spring, then remove roller.

5.

Reverse procedure to install

WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER SWITCH

1.

Remove combination switch as outlined previously.

2.

Remove switch to switch body attaching screws, Fig. 10.

3.

Remove wiper/washer switch.

4.

Reverse procedure to install.
