17. Install the right and left hand tie rod ends and lock nuts by doing the following procedures.

a. Screw the lock nut and tie rod end onto the rack end until the matchmarks are aligned.
b. After adjusting the toe-in, tighten the nut to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).

18. Install the air control valve, tighten the valve to 29 Nm (22 ft.lbs.).
19. Install the two turn pressure tubes, performing the following.

a. Install the two new union seats.
b. Using the 09633 - 00020 SST, install the tube, tightening it to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).

NOTE:

Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.81 inch).

This torque value is effective in case that the SST is parallel to a torque wrench.
