1. INSPECT THE RIGHT REAR BRAKE HOSE
(a) In a well-lighted area, inspect the area of the right rear brake hose marked with the masking tape.

Check the brake hose to see if it has come in contact with the exhaust pipe flange.

Check the brake hose for any damage (cuts, scratches, rubbing, discoloration, bubbling, or burn marks) caused by the exhaust pipe flange.
NOTE:
Use a mirror to inspect the areas that are difficult to see.
(b) If the brake hose shows NO signs of contact or damage caused by the exhaust pipe flange, brake hose replacement is NOT needed, proceed to "B.
UPDATED DUAL EXHAUST SYSTEM INSTALLATION."
(c) If the brake hose shows signs of contact or damage caused by the exhaust pipe flange replace the brake hose, proceed to the next step.
