Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

FRONT SPEED SENSOR
COMPONENTS
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 113 Nm (1,150 kgf-cm, 83 ft. lbs.)
2. DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR
3. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR
a. Remove the 2 clips and 3 clamp bolts holding the sensor harness from the frame, upper arm and steering knuckle.
Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 inch lbs.)
b. Remove the bolt and speed sensor from the steering knuckle.
Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 inch lbs.)
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
HINT: After installation, check the speed sensor signal.
