Air Bag Deactivation Switch: Testing and Inspection
RSCA Off Switch
INSPECTION
1. INSPECT RSCA OFF INDICATOR LIGHT
a. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
b. Check that the RSCA OFF indicator light goes off after it comes on for 3 seconds.
c. Check that the RSCA OFF indicator light comes on after pressing the RSCA OFF switch for approx. 2 seconds.
2. INSPECT RSCA OFF SWITCH CONTINUITY
a. Inspect the continuity between each terminal.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the RSCA OFF switch.
